Looking at those stats...Loktionov has either really improved as a player, or the Devils line-up needs some serious help. I hope Loktionov has improved!

This is nice, but I want to be reading that Elias is close to resigning. The RFAs can come later.

Great, we almost got Kovalchuk's sidekick locked up a year.

Agreed. We need Patty and Zubrus back and Clarkson if its a reasonable price.

Its not like you guys aren't deep at center though. Probably could have showcased him a little more like the Canucks did with Hodgson.

This is good news. There was always a risk Loktionov would sign in KHL. I believe that is why Lombardi traded him for only a 5th rd pick.

I like Loktionov's play with the Devils this past year. He needs to work on faceoffs.

That's good. I am surprised no one has came in saying how stupid Lou is and that Clarkson should be priority number one.

What do you guys think would be too much money for clarkson?

Literally, 4. Relatively, 5. 3 is what he's worth.

If he goes to the open market, I see him most likely getting 5 easy. However he is definitely worth more than 3. I would give him a max of 4.25 to stay here

He had one very good season so I agree with your valuation. How many years do you think he'll get. I think he should get a contract for 4 years 16 or 18 mil

I believe Clarkson to be a productive player if he would not get injured consistently. Hampering injuries have happened to him in each of the last three seasons and after his injury his production totals decrease. Obviously injuries would decrease production totals but the difference is from very productive play to literal nothing.

I very much would like Loktionov to be resigned. We need somebody to put up some points. Like, literally anybody.

Kings didn't need him. He doesn't fit into King hockey, i.e., physical, strong, and gritty, not to mention the Kings have better prospects in the system like Tofoli, Pearson, etc. I was happy to see that lackluster schmo out of here and I'm very satisfied with Ellerby instead.

Why don't you just have Don Cherry as your avatar?

soo hows about Jonas Hiller after this year if Kinkaid doesn't show any good things?

He is 31 though, and would be 32 by the time we'd want to acquire him.

Keep in mind we could always just sign some temporary journeyman guys if Wedgewood or Kinkaid need more time after this season, or God forbid Marty wants to keep playing at 42.

I agree, he proved he was worth more then a 5th.

And no, Ellerby sucks
